Let it Go...
Let it Be...
Just live..
OK Guys, so I bought myself a pair of Gucci shoes. Why Not!
Ok, so I have to be honest. It's not like I went straight into a Gucci boutique, and copped a pair of $800 shoes. Not at my level - Yet! So I had a package to pick up from fedex- will discuss that later... The fedex facility was located in Secaucus. So while driving down, I noticed a few outlets, namely Tommy Hilfiger (Which I am really NOT into). But nonetheless, it peeked my interest. So I took a detour, to check out what other Outlets were there. And low and behold- Gucci Group. Of course I'm late and everyone and their Mama (including mine), already knew about this place. But hey, that's my charm I guess.
So I went in to check it out. There were a few posers in there, lol. Look, no offense, but if your at an outlet, then we all know why we are here. We're trying to get a break... So no need to act shoo shoo and foo foo, at an outlet mall. That's just beyond me, but whatever.
Now lets get to it, I'm sure most of the items there were last seasons, but I really didn't care. I had a few things in mind- Namely the Nude shoes. Of which I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of. But I didn't come prepared to spend that type of money, lol. So I went into practical mode (as much as one can at Gucci), and actually fancied a round toe, squarish heel, Great work shoe. Second to that was the square toed party pump above (because you guys know, I'm dating...). I loved both shoes, but the round toe pump wasn't available in my size, so I went for the impractical party shoe, that made my legs look long for days!
Here's a tip. If your at a designer outlet, and want to get the best bang for your buck - Go Classic. You can never go wrong with that. Classic never goes out of style. Also opt for the pieces that are made of higher quality material. For instance, if its a choice between a leather pair of shoes/bag/wallet, or canvas pair of shoes/bag/wallet- I'm going for leather. If its a choice between, a pump and a ballerina shoe, I'm going for the pump. My point really being, that you should still be selective, even at a designer store. Sometimes the name behind a product is just that, and does not equate to quality.
