Sundays Brunch- turned into Lunch. (Black people and their sense of time)

But I cooked the hell out of this, lol!

So I decided to have Brunch at my place. This was the first "event", that I hosted here. I invited a couple of friends, bought a ton of croissants, muffins and juices- not to mention preserves. Ok- Jelly, I did not have time to head back to the supermarket. So Smuckers would do.

Only for my guests to show up at 4pm for a 1pm Brunch. Urgh! So I had to switch it up. I already had my meat defrosting (intentions to cook for the week), so I had something to serve. But I spent the next 2 hours, sitting in my way hot Kitchen. Boy was I beat at the end of the day. Lesson of the day-  Next time, brunch will be called breakfast and set at 10 am, lol.
